The Aspen Highlands Construction Staff
Micah Cuttle
In 1974, Micah was born in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska. When old enough, he was always ‘helping’ his dad on job sites. When he was five, little brother Nathan came along. A few years later the boys got a little sister named Cari. With three kids in tow, the family moved to the Windy City of Chicago. He grew up around construction his whole life. Growing up their home was an ongoing project. When he was a teenager he started working with his dad on remodels and additions. In 1994, the Cuttle family started another adventure and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Micah almost stayed behind but ended up moving with the family. Good thing he did! The night Micah and his dad drove in he met his future wife, Chrissy. Micah and Chrissy were married in 1997. The happy little family of two quickly became a family of three. Bailey was born in October 1998. In 1999, they moved to Orlando and found out they were expecting another daughter, Abbey. After 11 months, they moved back to Atlanta and Micah went to work for a masonry company and loved it! While building their own home, he fell in love with the whole process. Eventually his brother, Nathan and his dad, Jack started working with him and that’s when it all happened. Aspen Highlands turned from a dream into reality. In 2004, they had their third child, a son named Elijah. With little Elijah only 5 months old, they moved to the Northside of Atlanta to began a new and exciting chapter in their lives. His parents quickly followed as did Nathan. The most recent addition to their family was Charlie, a Golden Retriever. Now that the picture is complete with the kids and the dog, you will find Micah enjoying life with his family. Most nights you’ll catch him wrestling with Elijah and Charlie or at soccer games with Abbey or at football games watching Bailey cheer.
Nathan Cuttle
Being from Alaska, Nathan has always had a passion for the outdoors. After graduating from high school, he moved to Colorado. He fell in love with the mountains, snowboarding and a girl. He was a project manager for a masonry company who built homes in the mountains of Aspen and Vail. That experience sparked something in him. He moved back to Atlanta and along with his brother started Aspen Highlands Construction. About the girl…he told his dad he thought he found the one. His dad told him to go find out! He took his advice and went to Argentina to see Victoria and to meet her family. She was definitely the one! The whole family went to their wedding a year and a half later in Argentina. He fell in love with the country and its people. The adventurous couple love to travel and spend time with their families. They both still love to ski and snowboard when they have a chance. Victoria is usually busy delivering babies (she’s a doctor!). For now it’s the three of them...Nathan, Victoria and their Corgi, Pepe. You might even get a lick or two from Pepe when you see him on job sites.
Jack Cuttle
Jack was born and raised on the farms and cities of Oregon. At the age of 18 he took a trip to Hawaii where he met his future wife Pat, on Waikiki beach. If that wasn’t romantic enough, he decided to follow her home to Anchorage, Alaska where he picked up his first construction job as a framer.
Not earning enough to support his young family he decided to join the Anchorage Fire Department where he served the next eight years. But, his wife will tell you, he never put his hammer down to this day. Every home they have lived in has been under constant construction. Thus the life of a contractor was born.
When he moved to Chicago in 1981, he brought with him his passion for working with his hands, and started J&J Construction. His work began as small remodels and additions, but quickly grew into historic renovations and later custom homes. After many cold windy years in Chicago the temptation of the South was too great and the Cuttle family found themselves in Hotlanta.
Jack took on new adventures in business in Atlanta. He became the Vice President of a PVC manufacturing company that serviced the multifamily housing industry around the country. Later, he along with his colleagues, began a manufacturing business of their own that would sell to one of the largest building supply companies in the country.
When not working with Aspen Highlands, you can find Jack starting or finishing his latest project at home or working on his dock. Jack and Pat love spending time with their kids and grandkids on their boat. He’s always out grilling on his Green Egg for an impromptu family gathering.
